About George
George Meressa was born in Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War and grew up in Hackney, East London. He started his career in digital advertising in 2009 and founded Clear Ads in 2011, building it into an internationally recognised Amazon advertising agency that has worked with over 1,000 brands worldwide. As an official Amazon Advertising Partner, his agency helps eCommerce businesses scale through Amazon PPC, DSP, and full-service account management.
Outside of business, George spent 15 years volunteering as a youth worker in Surrey, helping young people navigate faith and life. His writing draws on both worlds: the hard lessons from building a company, and the deeper questions about control, surrender, and what actually matters. He now lives in Poole with his fiancée Izzie.
